Dear Family,
I am so glad for the example of the Desert Valley Ward missionaries because our ward here has not been having
the members sign up to go out with us missionaries for teaching. I suggested it to my companion and we are going
to start it up next week. Interesting experience this week when we were walking through this empty street, all the
lights were out. I see a home with a window open and the lights on and a picture, its the fabulous Greg Olsen painting
that hangs in the Topaz church building Relief Society Room. So, I practically screamed to my companion that this
was a mormon painting and we have got to go knock on that door. The lady answered the door and I asked if she was
a member of the church. No, she answered, she was from another church. Then she started to ask me some
crazy questions about me, being American and wanting to marry her etc. Crazy people here. My companion handled
the situation and thankfully my little Spanish helped the situation.

Our investigator is progressing and will be baptized this weekend. Taught him all the commandments in one discussion.
He has committed to change and has a strong testimony, he is awesome!

I love the Peruvian food here, I can't complain. I eat a lot of chicken and rice and beans. Making me just a little sick
but my body just needs to adjust.

I have gained a testimony that when we pray, it makes a difference in knowing the church and doctrines are true.
