But any way, life could not be better, when I choose the right down to the letter.

So this week was fantastic. We went to the Temple on Wednesday as a district! It was a great time to reflect and do a temple session. I attended the session all in Spanish!
After the session, we went to Subway sandwich shop to eat, and trust me, we ate!!. And trust me, us 3 Americans bought like a million subway cookies. The food just tasted so good! Then stopped by the Deseret book store equivalent across the street! I bought a triple scripture and a case until my quad comes in.
I also got the Christmas package you sent! Loved the chocolate and all the cards from my.....(teardrop)....old ward. I really appreciate them and I am hanging up the pictures and all!
We had 2 days of interchanges with the zone leaders this week. Walked a lot in the area"retablo" that was an area next to mine. With the position of the mountains from their area it totally felt like Las Vegas for two days. The mountains here don't have green on them either.
I went to the Lima migration office the next day and I am now an official Peruvian!
So ... we had.....Wait for it..... 8 investigators come to church yesterday! (woot woot) so exciting. Elizabeth (the contact from last week) and her family, and Patricia (another contact) and her family. then a boy from a less active family and then another ''chocolate'' which is what you call kids over age 8 that aren't baptized that come from less active families, It was a great Sunday.
But besides that I;m great! Elder Cook the apostle is coming to our mission sometime this month!
I know that the church is true! We had a little experience in Gospel principles yesterday when a convert had never heard that Jehovah and Jesus Christ are the same person. She was really really confused and was like ''I have lived 44 years and this doctrine is pretty standard in all other religions but not this one'' We're going to talk with her this week. =She is actually humble in taking in the new information. Just her initial reaction was funny. It just helps me to know that no matter the doubt or the question, the Church is so complete with its doctrine that there are very little, if any, holes in the church. That's how we can know its true. Everything just compliments each other and I love that.
My companion and I are great. Elder Garcia is from the center of Mexico. He has three or four more months in the mission and will probably spend them here in San Agustin as his last area. But he is great and I have learned a lot already!
Have a wonderful week.
Elder Foutz
