Hello Everyone!
So this week has been encouraging my skills in contacting. one of my many amazing skills. actually it has been much better! We try to talk to every family that we run into! its been better and better.
SO to start finding more people we have started two things. a list to go out with the members (we have at least 2 hours every day filled and that's just from Elders quorum. Thanks DV missionaries) and English classes. We are now doing better with the list! It is starting today. Then English classes, I've already taught 2 and it's great. I just get to talk slow English and write words and draw pictures on the white board as I ask them to converse and repeat me. I follow a program from the Church called daily dose. WE HAVE ALREADY HAD TWO NONMEMBERS COME and that's without even announcing it in sacrament meeting yet. It's on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 am.
So the Rabbit (Landlord's) was dead. there is a pioneer song that my comp has called ``I remember one who understands`` or something. but it begins with a date and says ``the baby was dead`` and yeah. the Rabbit (conejo) was dead from some disease or something. we had to bury it.
Everyone is celebrating Christmas by sewing snowmen, playing music, or getting invited by the missionaries to the Stake choir devotional last night ;). they also have Christmas lights! The lights are so annoying! They all play Christmas songs and because every one and their neighbor has them, they just combine in a loud annoying minor tone ringing through the streets every night. But they are all excited to have fireworks and get drunk that night.
We have been thinking how we are contacting but not finding people interested yet. Especially after the baptism we were a little saddened by this fact. Even our lessons fell through, but as we left and contacted, family after family received us. It was a miracle! We even ran into the right members at the right time to obtain a referral or to help a little primary girl return to her home safely. It was amazing to see the Lord's hands helping us in the work.
Not much more. Thank you everyone! Pictures are coming!
